More about Isaac

Transactional Analysis

Transactional Analysis is a modality of psychotherapy that looks at repeating patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving in our relationships with ourselves, the world and with the people in our lives.

The relational school of TA puts an emphasis on the nature of the relationship between client and therapist being a key part of the work.

Coming from this philosophy Isaac pays close attention to what takes place in the therapy room and what meaning this has for the clients’ life and relationships in the outside world.

Working with Isaac

Isaac has spent the last 6 years working with a wide range of client presentations in a variety of settings including community based charities, secondary schools and universities.

Isaac has worked extensively with clients in distress, presenting with difficulties in relationships and who have difficult and traumatic histories. From people who are experiencing a phase of difficulty in their lives and want short term support, to people who want something longer term.

As well as working in private practice in Exeter city centre, Isaac also works as part of the Wellbeing service at Exeter university providing short term counselling to students.
